WITHDRAWN

Apparatus: The apparatus required includes equipment for sample preparation, digestion, distillation, and titration to accurately determine sulphate, pyritic, and organic sulphur content.

Procedure for Determining Sulphate: The sample is treated to extract sulphate ions, which are then precipitated, filtered, and weighed or measured using suitable analytical techniques to quantify sulphate content.

Procedure for Determining Pyritic Sulphur: The sample undergoes acid digestion to convert pyritic sulphur into hydrogen sulphide, which is subsequently captured and quantified, allowing for the measurement of pyritic sulphur.

Procedure for Determining Organic Sulphur: Organic sulphur content is determined by removing inorganic sulphur forms and measuring the remaining sulphur bound organically using appropriate chemical or instrumental methods.
