METHODS OF AUTOMATIC ULTRASONI

Four automatic ultrasonic testing methods for detecting longitudinal, transverse and laminar imperfections in wrought steel tubes using shear wave and compression wave ultrasonic techniques.

Applies to seamless and welded tubes with outside diameters greater than 12.5 mm and a thickness of not less than 1.5 mm.
