This Part describes a go/no go procedure for use in the paint and allied industries to determine whether a product is combustible, i.e. has the ability to support combustion1 within the meaning of the Highly Flammable Liquids and Liquefied Petroleum Gases Regulations.

The method does not in any way apply to painted surfaces and their potential fire hazards.
