Specification for paint remover for air drying selectively removable paint scheme for aerospace purposes
This British Standard specifies requirements for paint remover able to selectively remove the finish or finish and intermediate coating of a defined paint scheme.
The paint remover is intended for brush or spray application to paint schemes including an intermediate coating conforming to BS X 35, on metallic and non-metallic surfaces for aerospace purposes.
NOTE. This British Standard does not apply to paint remover intended to be used on paint schemes that do not include an intermediate coat.
Annex A gives information on application for type approval.
