This technical report has been developed to support IEC 61340-5-1.
The controls and limits referenced in this standard were developed to protect devices that are susceptible to discharges of 100 V or greater using the human body model test method.
However, the general concepts are still valid for devices that are susceptible to discharges of less than 100 V.
