ANSI/ESD Association Standard Practice for Electrostatic Discharge Sensitivity Testing – Human Body Model (HBM) Testing – Device Level – A Method for Random Sampling of Power Pins

PUBLISH DATE 2024
ESDA ANSI/ESD SP5.1.4-2024
The objective of this standard practice is to establish a method for sampling of pins from supply pin groups that are internally connected by metal in the die and which have less than 3 ohms resistance between them but are not necessarily connected by a package plane or above passivation layer (APL). NOTE: The results obtained by applying this standard practice may or may not be identical to the results obtained by applying ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 without modification.
